Mama Stortini’s Ristorante decided to move their establishment from University Place to Puyallup. Helix was retained as architect and interior designer for extensive remodeling of an existing building. Remodeling included extensive structural repairs; new façade; new roof; new main entry; new commercial kitchen; replacement of interiors spaces; and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems.
Each dining room on the main floor was designed with its own theme. The patrons can "walk" through Tuscany, Venice and Sicily while enjoying the warm Italian color palette selected by the designers. The design made allowances for a future 6,000 square foot, two-story addition to accommodate expanded restaurant and dining along with banquet facilities.
