Renovations, upgrades and additions to were made to three (3) existing “C-store” and fueling stations for the Puyallup Indian Tribe (Marine View Ventures) – located on Pacific Ave., Portland Ave., and Norpoint Way in Tacoma.
Exterior renovations included new entry canopy and signage, new storefront entrance, and painting of existing exterior facade.
Interior renovation included complete demolition of existing store layout. The new layouts expand the merchandise area, provide new cashier checkout area, beverage station, restrooms, manager’s office, break room and stock room spaces. Helix provided selection and specification of all FF&E and signage. Site work included reconfigured parking and drive lanes to improve site vehicle circulation, addition of concrete sidewalks, as well as, landscape areas.
At the Norpoint Way location the existing fuel canopy was demolished to allow for reconfiguration of the site to providing more on-site parking; greater visibility from intersection and improved site vehicle circulation. A new six (6) dispenser fuel canopy was built at the north side of site. The existing underground fuel tanks remained and piping was re-routed to the new fuel dispensers.
All new interior finishes, including interior signage and FF&E, as well as exterior finishes were installed and upgraded to match the new MVV Tahoma Market Branding Image Standards. The Branding Image Standards for Tahoma Market were also created by Helix.
