Northshore Golf Shop & Driving Range

This project includes the multi-phased revitalization at the North Shore Golf Course in Tacoma. The 18-hole golf course was purchased by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians in 2016. The existing Clubhouse building was in need of repairs and did not adequately serve the needs of Patrons. The design for the new Golf Shop and Clubhouse will support golfers and provide a new space for local community events. The first phase of this project included demolition of the existing Driving Range building and construction of a new Driving Range Shelter and Golf Shop. The 1,125 SF Golf Shop includes golfer check-in, a pro desk, retail merchandise displays and a beverage counter—its new location on the site provides better efficiency for day to day operations, while relocated cart paths create more convenient connections between the Golf Shop, the Driving Range, and the first tee. The second phase will include the construction of the new 15,046 SF Clubhouse including a restaurant, lounge, ballrooms, and administrative functions.
